Along with her craft expertise; Amy shares her knowledge of Japan's craft scene; a passion for her birth country, America; and a love of touring her adopted country, Australia.
Prior to working as a blogger, Amy worked in the film and games industry as a 3D Artist and Production Manager on projects including Iron Man 2, The Matrix sequels and the Harry Potter films. With a passion for learning, Amy holds degrees in computer science and technology management, as well as doing advanced studies in computer graphics and marketing. A jack of all trades, Amy has also tried her hand at network programming, graphic design and business strategy. Working with textiles combines her passion for colour, shape and composition.
Amy is a dual-national with both American and Australian citizenship. She enjoys craft, travel, photography and adventure bringing a bounding energy to anything she pursues. Her life dream is to hit the road in an Airstream caravan venturing around with her husband Craig.
